Luambe National Park is 247km² and situated between the North
and South Luangwa National Parks. Due to the difficulty of accessing
the bad roads, the park is suitable for four-wheel drive vehicles
only.
Worth the trouble: Travelling to the small park is worth the
trouble however, as locals will tell you, once you are there. The
park has spectacular natural beauty and game viewing is good too.
The park is especially known for bird-watching.
Special features of the South Luangwa National Park:
¨ Totally remote
¨ Completely off the beaten track
