The 15 000km² Okavango delta is a magical world of interlinking
channels of champagne-coloured water, springing from a huge desert
in northern Botswana. After the seasonal rains, the Okavango delta
fills with water and is at its most exquisite: reeded islands sheltering
exotic animals and birds.
The heart of the delta can be reached by air only and this is where
the Moremi Game Reserve is located: a place of breathtaking beauty
and plentiful game -as well as over 500 bird species.
